CASTING LEAD ROLE IN NON UNION FEATURE FILM!

Thanks for the Room will be a hybrid narrative-documentary feature that will use both actors and real people from the unhoused community featuring scenes that will be both scripted and unscripted. Filming will be done with multi-cameras and natural and practical light, filmed in a fast-paced run and gun style.

Casting for the lead role in the film - Byron

Specs:

Male - age range 30-39 - all ethnicities

Byron is a career grinder and the pandemic has caused him to lose his home, wife, and child. With no more options, he takes a job as a courier at a pandemic hotel for the unhoused. A modern day Travis Bickle, slowly pushed so close to the edge, he loses sight of which side of it he’d prefer to be on.
